I help you to cope with stressful situations, strengthen your resources and regain your emotional well-being. Below you will find an overview of my services. Together we will find the path that suits you.
Sometimes people identify that it is something in themselves that makes their lives more complicated than most people’s. A look backward confirms this has been true for much of their lives. Individual psychotherapy is the only way to take full responsibility for changing this deeply internal dysfunction. Using an approach that emphasises the present moment emotional moment whilst also acknowledging the impact of early life experiences on our cognitions, individuals are able at last to heal from the past and move forward to reach their true human potential. It requires effort but can be life-changing.
When two people join their lives as intimately as happens in a co-habiting pair, the possibility for joy is huge but so is the possibility for misunderstanding, frustration and disappointment. Becoming half of an intimate partnership makes new demands on one’s ability to communicate and not everyone is prepared for that process. People have to know themselves deeply as well as be able to convey adequately and effectively to the other person what is going on and what is needed in their 50% of the relationship. By means of cognitive therapy and learning theory combined, couples can learn to treat conflict as an opportunity for learning and growing; the ideal outcome of conflict is deeper intimacy.

"I was reflecting today in my little notebook of 3 pages daily that I will most miss being seen, appreciated and valued for who I am with all the colour and nuance."

"I am so delighted to spread the word about what a transformative part of my life you have been to me to more people. I'm so open with my journey and you've been a big part of it."

"I wanted you know how much the work with you still impacts me so many years later. Your influence has even extended to others who I have urged to seek out professional help when facing situations similar to my own."

"You come to my mind so so many times that if I contacted you each time, you'd have to kindly ask me to desist. I'm still thriving and going strong, expanding on the foundation of self-care and self-esteem you so patiently helped me grasp, both by your insightful words and by your example. I learned A LOT from your example. I remember how adamantly I insisted that my views of myself are correct, that people in general think like me. You gave me space and time to change my outlook, you gave me the direction but you never rushed the process. The feelings of gratitude just naturally resurface. I will be always grateful for what you have given me."

Thank you Kenneth so so much for all the things you have taught me from our time together. I have learned so much about myself that I never even thought I could from just this short period. But I am forever grateful for it all.
